Job Title: Director of Beverages and Operations
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide direction to the business unit through ongoing planning and strategy, ensuring organization goals are met. This role involves creating and implementing yearly budgets, 5-year projections, business plans, period financial statements, and other commodity-specific documents. The Director of Beverages and Operations will lead divisional projects to successful completion, ensure accurate inventory reporting across all liquor locations, address inventory discrepancies, and foster strong relationships with SLGA and vendors.
The Director will also be responsible for staff recruitment, onboarding, training, performance reviews, salary administration, and timecards. Additionally, they will work closely with the Health and Safety Coordinator to ensure policies are being enforced and assist in asset protection of inventory.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous retail management and supervisory experience
- Experience with wine, spirits, and beer in a retail setting
- Related education or a strong business background preferred
- Willingness to obtain Serve it Right Saskatchewan Certification
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Able to work a variety of shifts and be available for after-hour emergencies
