About the RoleThis is a permanent position working 35 hours per week with a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
- Coordinating meetings, seminars, and conferences;
- Preparing and maintaining records, reports, and other documents;
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars;
- Providing excellent customer service and communication skills;
- Assisting with data entry and record-keeping;
- Maintaining inventory and supplies; and
- Performing other administrative tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role. You will also have proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication and organizational skills.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks;
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word;
- Experience with data entry and record-keeping;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines;
- Reliability and punctuality in meeting deadlines and commitments.
