Senior Sales and Trade Development Manager

PORTA is an authentic Italian manufacturer of artisanal, ready-to-cook frozen meals. We produce high-quality dishes using only the finest ingredients and traditional recipes in a simple cooking process that takes less than 15 minutes.
We want to make every home cook feel like a chef by providing easy access to order and cook delicious Italian food at home.
Our products include a range of frozen pizzas and ravioli, distributed in over 1100+ grocery stores across the US and Canada. As our ideal candidate, you'll be the chef in your home kitchen, trying PORTA's products today.
Job DescriptionBusiness Development & Account Management:- Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan to achieve profitable sales growth and year-over-year volume objectives with designated customers and distributors.
- Lead the complete sales process through new product sell-in, customer acquisition, business planning, reorders, negotiation, forecasting, trade fund management, and business reviews.
- Achieve profitable growth by understanding and implementing key sales fundamentals: distribution, pricing, promotion, and display.
- Strengthen customer relationships by understanding their strategies and acting as a consultant on product and industry trends.
- Create and own internal revenue reporting and customer-specific POS data reports to deliver weekly insights.
- Develop promotional playbooks and execute profitable plans to drive incremental revenue for retail customers and PORTA.
- Demonstrate financial acumen by understanding and managing PORTA and customer P&Ls.
- Partner with customers to drive in-store awareness via POS, customized offers, ads, etc., and lead internal creative briefing for all customized marketing activities.
- Connect with retailer partners in stores to foster relationships and seek product feedback through monthly visits.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint).
- High energy self-starter and collaborative team player.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic company environment.
- A valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and ability to travel up to 10%.
- University Bachelor's Degree; business degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of CPG sales experience.
- Strategic thinker with business and financial acumen.
- Impactful verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective customer presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, benefits, and hybrid work arrangements.
