About the Opportunity

This exciting position offers a chance to work closely with senior traders, structurers, and clients to develop tailored solutions that meet specific investment needs. As a Repack Trader, you will be responsible for pricing and executing repackaging transactions efficiently, ensuring alignment with client objectives, market conditions, and RBC's risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pricing and Execution: Price and execute repackaging transactions efficiently, ensuring alignment with client objectives, market conditions, and RBC's risk appetite.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities and risks associated with repackaging transactions.
  • Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage the performance of existing repackaging deals, making adjustments as necessary to optimize returns and manage risks within our risk framework.
  • Product Development: Assist in the structuring and documentation of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), Credit-Linked Notes (CLNs), and other structured products, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
  • Workflow Optimization: Work with Business Management and Technology teams to optimize the workflow of the business.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong analytical background.
  • Strong grasp of financial markets.
  • Commercial understanding and mindset.
  • Existing understanding of the trading processes.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, with advanced-level Excel skills;
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Good communication skills are essential at various levels of seniority when dealing with internal and external customers, as well as other business units.
