At A&J SONS HOLDINGS INC, we are seeking an experienced Administrative Services Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
About the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, including managing day-to-day operations, coordinating events, and ensuring seamless communication between teams.
Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies;
- Delegate work to office support staff to maximize productivity and minimize workload;
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met;
- Carry out administrative activities of establishment, including managing budgets, maintaining inventory, and preparing reports;
- Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation;
- Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services;
- Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls;
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence;
- Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as required;
- Train staff on new procedures and technologies;
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services;
- Oversee payroll administration and plan and control budget and expenditures.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and spreadsheet software;
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices;
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (as required).
