Job Summary
As a Senior Payroll Implementation Test Lead, your role involves overseeing testing during payroll system implementation. You'll work closely with project teams to develop and execute testing strategies, ensuring payroll system accuracy and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy Development: Develop and maintain testing strategies, plans, and procedures for payroll system implementation.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work with project teams to identify testing requirements and scope based on business and system needs.
- Resource Management: Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain required test data and resources.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of testers, providing guidance and support throughout the testing process.
- Defect Tracking: Document and report defects found during testing, working with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and track testing progress, ensuring deadlines are met and issues addressed.
- Post-Implementation Testing: Conduct post-implementation testing to validate payroll system success.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to other team members and end-users during system testing and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a testing lead or similar role, preferably in payroll domain.
- Payroll Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll processes and systems.
- Testing Expertise: Familiarity with different testing methodologies and tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage and prioritize tasks, strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and focus on delivering high-quality results.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year.
