Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst for Payroll Implementation, you will analyze and interpret data related to the implementation of a new payroll system. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the project team to understand data requirements for the payroll system implementation.
- Gathering, validating, and analyzing data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Performing data cleansing and transformation to ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Developing and maintaining data models, reports, and dashboards to visualize and present data analysis findings.
- Identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, and providing insights and recommendations to optimize payroll processes.
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand their data analysis needs and providing customized reports and analysis.
- Collaborating with IT teams to ensure data integration and migration from legacy systems to the new payroll system.
- Performing data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and consistency between different systems.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of data quality control measures to ensure data integrity.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a data analyst or similar role, preferably in the payroll domain.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Excellent data manipulation and data cleansing skills.
- Knowledge of database management systems, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and present insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
