Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Nan's Country Store is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and teaching interest or professional development courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
  • Assign sales workers to duties
  • Teach interest or professional development courses
  • Authorize payments by cheque
  • Order merchandise
  • Authorize return of merchandise
  • Establish work schedules
  • Sell merchandise
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Fast-paced environment
