Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Nan's Country Store is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Assign sales staff to duties, ensuring that the store is adequately staffed and that customers receive prompt assistance.
  • Teach interest or professional development courses to sales staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Authorize payments by cheque, manage inventory, and resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that the store is well-stocked and that merchandise is accurately displayed.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
