Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Nan's Country Store is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning duties, and teaching interest or professional development courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of sales staff
  • Assign sales workers to duties and tasks
  • Teach interest or professional development courses to staff
  • Authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise
  • Establish work schedules and prepare reports on sales volumes and merchandising
  • Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory and supervise staff
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail sales or a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Client focus and team player
