Job Summary:

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to join the Contract Management Office team. As an integral part of this team, you will provide administrative support and data analysis services to ensure the effective management of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support to the leadership team, including data analysis, statistical reporting, and benchmarking activities.
  • Assist with confidential administrative tasks, such as maintaining calendars, coordinating meetings, and processing information.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, utilizing software tools and applications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, promoting services and ensuring diversity and sensitivity.
  • Apply excellent time management skills to prioritize and complete assignments, optimizing departmental effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in a related program.
  • Three to four years' experience in a complex healthcare environment, with progressively more responsible secretarial and administrative positions.
  • Advanced computer skills in spreadsheet, database, and word processing programs, including Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
