**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team in Vancouver Coastal West. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in managing various administrative and financial documents.

**Job Summary:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing contracts, providing reception and switchboard services, and offering administrative support to staff. This is a great opportunity for an administrative professional who enjoys staying organized and excels at managing multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Prepare, administer, and monitor contracts for the delivery of CLBC-supported services and funding per current legislation, contract specifications, and agency policy and procedures within a regional area.
  • Maintain a computerized status log and database of all regional contracts and provide up-to-date reports.
  • Maintain physical and electronic files for people with developmental disabilities and their families, along with a general filing system.
  • Provide word processing, data input & typing support such as correspondence, mail merges, meeting minutes, forms, client information.
  • Greet, screen, and direct families and persons with developmental disabilities to appropriate offices and agencies for service.
  • Liaise with Quality Service Analysts for initial, renewal, and modification contracts.
  • Verify that backup and source documents are accurate, complete, and compliant and are approved by appropriate spending authority per CLBC policy and procedure.

Qualifications:

  • A Grade 12 diploma or equivalent education.
  • A combination of 3 years clerical/administrative support experience, education, and/or training in a financial position (e.g. payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping).
  • Strong MS Word and MS Excel skills.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with experience processing contracts.
  • A typing speed of 50WPM.
