Job Description:
As a Contract Negotiation and Risk Management Specialist, you will lead the review, drafting, and negotiation of contracts and other legal documentation for Major Projects. You will support Project teams in risk management, contract administration, and development of resources and templates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and draft contracts and other legal documentation.
  • Support Project teams in day-to-day operations, risk identification, and management.
  • Develop and review formal Project documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Commercial Risk Governance to review and develop resources and templates.
  • Build relationships with Project teams by understanding Stantec's business and improving risk management practices.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You must have a law degree and several years of experience in contract negotiation and risk management.
