This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join 3M as a Sales Automation Strategist. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth by identifying and advancing sales opportunities for our automation-related product platforms.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced sales professional who can lead the charge in developing and closing new sales opportunities. This includes working closely with account representatives, laboratory, portfolio, and activation marketing teams to achieve sales targets.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities for automation-related product platforms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including application engineers, external customers, and partners to drive sales adoption of new product programs.
- Become a subject matter expert on bonding automation and provide leadership, coaching, and direction to sales professionals related to automation opportunities.
- Drive sales adoption of new product programs, including the On-Demand Bonding System featuring VHBTM Extrudable Tape, RoboTapeTM System for 3MTM Tape, and other upcoming products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of five (5) years of sales or marketing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Current, valid driver's license.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Advanced experience and knowledge with tape and adhesive products.
- Experience with automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Sales specialist or key account selling experience.
- Ability to work as an influencer, stakeholder, leader, or team member with other sales reps.
- Track-record of new business development.
- Relationship builder with a competitive nature.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
