About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team at Tri-Mach Group Inc. to ensure the quality and safety of our custom machinery and material conveyance equipment for the food, pharmaceutical and agricultural industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all quality team personnel in the execution of their daily duties.
  • Collaborate with department leaders across all Business Units to ensure the successful implementation and execution of all quality inspections, requirements, and processes.
  • Design and conduct audits to assess quality system effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead the Quality Improvement Process by investigating root causes of all quality issues and coordinating the implementation or corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design and audit quality processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
  • Conduct supplier quality assessments and manage supplier relationships to ensure product/service quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Account Managers to solve customer challenges or issues as they arise.
  • Act as the point of contact for all quality related issues, projects, or initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and training on quality principles and practices to employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Prepare and present quality and project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product/service quality.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, production, project management, and field service teams to resolve customer complaints and implement corrective actions for product non-conformances.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the company's quality management system remains compliant and effective.
  • Develop, implement, and report quality metrics to monitor and continuously improve product and process quality.
  • Lead and/or support the implementation, maintenance, and expansion of quality systems in all Tri-Mach facilities.
  • Department staffing, administration, budgets, training, mentoring, and employee onboarding.
  • Participate in weekly production meetings to provide project status updates to all internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and company sponsored events.
  • Travel to customer sites to address quality issues and attend customer meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (Engineering, Quality Management, etc.).
  • 5+ years in a supervisory or management role with direct reports.
  • 5+ years in custom design and build of industrial equipment, material handling, and automation.
  • Knowledge of quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in quality management tools and software.
  • Experience in leading quality audits and implementing corrective actions.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, such as Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
