We are seeking an experienced Senior Tenders Analyst to join our Contract Management team in Vaughan, ON. Reporting directly to the Manager, Tenders, you will collaborate closely with other departments and service organizations to contribute to the overall success of the company's objectives. The primary goal is to deliver high-quality Tender submissions within customer-defined deadlines and requirements to drive business growth for Cardinal Health Canada. This role will also involve reviewing RFx documents, terms and conditions, conducting risk identification, and redlining agreements as required. You will manage multiple RFx submissions at a given point in time, leading cross-functional teams and representing all parts of the business.

The Senior Tenders Analyst will also be responsible for monitoring the status of submitted RFx projects and coordinating activities between customers and internal teams to sign contracts. You will leverage your experience to provide value-added services, insights, and knowledge sharing to Commercial teams to support driving business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the entire RFx and contract lifecycle process from initial intake to final submission and contract award, ensuring alignment with RFx and/or contract timelines.
  • SOURCE new bid opportunities from various bid sites.
  • Act as project lead for assigned RFx, facilitating communication, coordinating kick-off calls, and working with cross-functional teams to develop a competitive response.
  • Liaise with customers to seek clarification, coordinate questions, and address RFx requirements as needed.
  • Review RFx documents, assign tasks, and set internal timelines for subject matter experts.
  • Assess contractual terms and conditions of RFx documents and contracts, identify risks, and collaborate with internal stakeholders for approvals.
  • Draft proposals and agreements with customers as required.
  • Coordinate, collect, and assemble RFx materials and responses.
  • Ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals and RFx submissions to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal.
  • Maintain accurate records of submitted tenders and RFx.
  • Coordinate RFx contract awards from notification of preferred proponent through to finalization/execution.
  • Update systems with relevant data for awarded business.
  • Escalate resolution and respond promptly to issues.
  • Facilitate contract signing between customers and internal teams.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient tendering process coordination.
  • Lead complex RFx projects requiring strategic collaboration and effective time management.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and best practices through engagement and feedback.

About this Opportunity:

  • $70,000 - $90,000 per year based on experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in RFx/Contract Management or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage competing deadlines.
