About the Role

Partridge Smith Law Firm is seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team. This full-time position will provide administrative support to our legal professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to our legal team, including opening and distributing mail, scheduling appointments, and answering telephone calls and messages.
  • Data Management: Compile data, statistics, and other information, as well as set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
  • Correspondence: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, and perform data entry tasks.
  • Office Management: Maintain and manage digital databases, perform basic bookkeeping tasks, and maintain filing systems.

Requirements

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with legal software applications.
