Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create innovative pastry and dessert products
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts, and breads
  • Maintain a high level of quality and presentation standards
  • Sample and taste ingredients to ensure quality and flavor
  • Lead by example and inspire the team to deliver exceptional results
  • Stay up-to-date with food trends and contemporary developments in pastry
  • Monitor inventory and budget to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Communicate effectively with the team and FOH managers

Requirements:

  • At least two years of related pastry experience
  • Ability to work weekends, mornings, and nights
  • Completion of a designated culinary school
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about bread making, classic baking techniques, and individual dessert plating
  • Ability to multitask with an eye for detail
  • Organized and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong English communication skills
  • Understanding of scheduling and inventory
