Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at Toptable Group. As a Pastry Sous Chef, you will be responsible for designing and executing creative pastry dishes, leading a team of pastry professionals, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus
- Lead a team of pastry chefs and coordinate kitchen operations
- Maintain a high level of quality and presentation in all pastry dishes
- Monitor inventory and manage kitchen supplies
- Stay up-to-date with the latest pastry trends and techniques
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients
- Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or valid work permit
