About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Sushi Langford - Belmont. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.

Culinary Leadership

Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other support staff, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional results.

Inventory Management

Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary goals.

Kitchen Operations

Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including scheduling, staff management, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Staff Development

Identify and develop the skills and talents of our kitchen staff, including training and mentoring programs to help them advance in their careers.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role

Language

Fluent in English

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week
