About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Sushi Langford - Belmont. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Development: Create new and innovative menu ideas that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Maintain the highest standards of food quality and safety in the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that we are able to maintain profitability while maintaining high standards of quality.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
