Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Little Thai Place Cook Street (2022) Inc. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operation.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use and minimize waste.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Organized and able to maintain accurate records.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week in a restaurant environment.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
