Academic Clinician in Adult Neuropsychology

The Department of Psychology at Simon Fraser University invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in Clinical Neuropsychology. We seek a qualified candidate to join our clinical neuropsychology track and contribute to the department's research excellence through a rigorous research program.
As an Academic Clinician, you will be expected to contribute to the university's research excellence by developing a research program that complements existing strengths in our clinical neuropsychology track. Your expertise in adult and/or older adult populations will enable you to teach courses in both undergraduate and graduate programs, supervise graduate students, and conduct high-quality research in this area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a rigorous research program with a focus on adult and/or older adult populations
- Teach courses in general cognitive assessment, neuropsychological assessment, and/or neurocognitive disorders in adult and older adults
- Supervise graduate students and contribute to their training and development
- Pursue opportunities for collaboration with colleagues within the department and across the university
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Psychology from a CPA- or APA-accredited institution
- Specialized training in neuropsychological evaluation, with a focus on adult and/or older adult populations
- Eligibility for registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia
- Demonstrated interest and/or expertise in research related to clinical neuropsychology
- Potential to contribute to teaching excellence in the department's Clinical Psychology Program
This is a full-time tenure-track position with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
