Overview

The Department of Radiology at BC Children's Hospital, in collaboration with the University of British Columbia, is seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team.

Estimated Salary: $350,000 - $450,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated radiologist to work with a dynamic team of clinicians and researchers in the field of pediatric interventional and diagnostic radiology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to children and families across British Columbia.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide clinical service in pediatric interventional and diagnostic radiology, including procedures such as angiography, vascular intervention, and neuro-intervention
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies and techniques in pediatric radiology
  • To participate in teaching and research activities, including mentoring residents and fellows, and contributing to academic publications
  • To collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have:

  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the Province of British Columbia
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Radiology
  • A recognized fellowship in Pediatric Radiology and Interventional Radiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
