About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk at ALMAC MOTOR HOTEL. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and guests are aware of hotel facilities and services.
  • Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, maintaining accurate records and communicating with guests and staff as required.
  • Guest Information: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the surrounding area.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with guests and staff.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, with occasional lifting and bending required.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts as required.
