About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk to join our team at La Crete Inn & Suites. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Customer Service: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, exchange foreign currency, and process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures as required.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Communication: Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Wakeup Calls: Contact customers to deliver requested wakeup calls.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort in a rural area.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Basic knowledge of internet.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is not available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliability, and team player.
  • Experience: Will train.
