About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk at ALMAC MOTOR HOTEL. Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and guests are aware of hotel facilities and services.
  • Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, maintaining accurate records and communicating with guests and staff.
  • Guest Information: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area, to enhance the guest experience.
  • Departure Process: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and attention to detail.
  • Standing and Mobility: Stand for extended periods and move throughout the hotel as needed, ensuring excellent guest service and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements and Preferences
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is an asset.

  • Work Schedule: Work a regular 35-hour week, with flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
