Champion Petfoods is a renowned pet food manufacturer with a rich history of trust and excellence. We are seeking a Territory Sales Representative to join our team in Ontario East, responsible for building partnerships with retailers and distributors to drive sales and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with distributor and retail accounts to advocate our vision, purpose, and values.
  • Manage retail store coverage and service frequency to maximize sales and customer engagement.
  • Control budgets assigned to retail customers and promote brand awareness.
  • Deliver inspired education and training to distributor sales teams, retail partners, and consumers.
  • Conduct product pricing and distribution reviews in stores and implement Champion's merchandising and branding standards.
  • Represent Champion at industry shows and events to engage and educate consumers.
  • Communicate field activity to the Regional Manager through daily and weekly reporting.
  • Develop market knowledge and awareness of competitor offerings.
Requirements:
  • Outside sales experience, preferably in the pet specialty industry or consumer packaged goods/retail.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships and handle objections.
  • Teamwork-focused in a remote work environment with a bias for action.
  • Proven experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a CRM program.
  • Experience presenting to large and small groups.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 50% locally, with some availability for work events on evenings and weekends.
