About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our nursing care services, including staff management, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives. You will work closely with our senior management team to develop and implement strategies that drive excellence in patient care and safety.

You will be expected to provide leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning. Your expertise in geriatric nursing and healthcare management will be invaluable in shaping our nursing practice and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the nursing team, providing strategic direction and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to promote excellence in nursing practice and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Current active practicing registration with CRNM.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing management, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving quality improvements.
  • Experience working in a geriatric facility or related area, with knowledge of geriatric nursing principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in health care management, including budgeting, staffing, and quality improvement initiatives.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
