Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive compensation strategies aligned with our business objectives, including executive and employee compensation programs in Canada and the US.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and HR colleagues to provide expert advice on compensation-related matters, ensuring consistency and fairness across all levels of the organization.
- Analyze complex data sets to inform compensation decisions, identify trends, and recommend solutions to optimize program performance.
- Liaise with external vendors and stakeholders to maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends.
- Provide training and development opportunities for compensation specialists, ensuring they possess the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.
- Maintain thorough understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements governing compensation landscape, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and standards.
- Work closely with the Director of Total Rewards to develop and implement initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within our compensation practices.
To succeed as our ideal candidate, you should possess a deep understanding of compensation principles, practices, and regulations, combined with exceptional analytical and communication skills. A strong background in total rewards and experience working with senior leadership teams is essential.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; CCP or CHRP designation is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in compensation, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with SAP/SF is an asset, as well as long-term equity plan administration experience.
