Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive compensation strategies aligned with our business objectives, including executive and employee compensation programs in Canada and the US.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and HR colleagues to provide expert advice on compensation-related matters, ensuring consistency and fairness across all levels of the organization.
  • Analyze complex data sets to inform compensation decisions, identify trends, and recommend solutions to optimize program performance.
  • Liaise with external vendors and stakeholders to maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for compensation specialists, ensuring they possess the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements governing compensation landscape, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and standards.
  • Work closely with the Director of Total Rewards to develop and implement initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within our compensation practices.
About You:

To succeed as our ideal candidate, you should possess a deep understanding of compensation principles, practices, and regulations, combined with exceptional analytical and communication skills. A strong background in total rewards and experience working with senior leadership teams is essential.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; CCP or CHRP designation is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in compensation, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with SAP/SF is an asset, as well as long-term equity plan administration experience.
