About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Compensation Specialist to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the company's executive compensation strategies and programs.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of executive compensation practices, including program design, implementation, and administration. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing executive compensation strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements governing executive compensation.
  • Providing analytical support and counsel on compensation-related events, including hiring, promotions, and transfers.
  • Partnering with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IS to administer and maintain accurate compensation data in HRIS and other tools.
  • Overseeing and auditing the ongoing execution of executive compensation programs according to company policies and statutory compliance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Masterful command of executive compensation practices, encompassing program design, implementation, and administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements governing executive compensation.
  • Superior analytical skills and ability to analyze statistical and financial data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and the Microsoft Office suite.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including a defined contribution pension plan with company matching and up to two paid days annually to volunteer at a cause of your choice.
