Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this key role will play a crucial part in delivering and executing the company's HR initiatives and serving as a business partner to senior leaders.

Job Description

The HR Director will leverage their expertise in change management, compensation, employee relations, and talent acquisition to drive organizational transformation and culture change. They will provide guidance and support to managers and employees on conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance HR service delivery and improve employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of HR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Collaborate with the VP of HR to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Serve as the organization's expert in compensation, providing guidance on compensation structures, salary reviews, and incentive programs.
  • Develop and implement change management plans, including communication strategies, training, and support mechanisms.
  • Oversee employee relations activities, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is ideal.
  • Professional HR certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles, with a strong focus on compensation, program management, employee relations, and talent acquisition.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing HR teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic HR initiatives and drive organizational change.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations across multiple provinces.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $175,000 per annum, depending on experience.
