About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Edo Japan. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen staff and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement new menu items and specials, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure the kitchen and work areas are clean and safe, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of quality and presentation in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
  • Handling Heavy Loads: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks such as food preparation and cleaning with minimal supervision.
