Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Cook to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Cold Lake. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality food service to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs to maintain profitability.
  • Prepare and cook meals, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain a smooth operation.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure timely and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, and judgement.
