About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at The Lake Louise Ski Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our resort's culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our guests.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional food service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all food served meets our high standards.
  • Cost Control: Manage kitchen expenses to ensure we are operating within our budget.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership abilities, and strong communication skills.
