Your Opportunity at Secure: As our Business Development Representative for Metal Recycling, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and planning and executing the complete sale for Secure's Metal Recycling business. This role is based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The Team:

  • You will work closely with our Operations group to maintain a positive atmosphere and culture that is strong and vibrant.

  • This position offers flexible hours, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively.

A Day in The Life:

- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of Secure and our operations. Knowledge of the metal recycling industry is considered an asset.

- Identify and exploit business opportunities to grow Secure's market share.

- Build relationships with customers by developing a detailed understanding of their business and corporate strategy.

- Utilize market analysis and operational costs to support the development of successful bids and proposals.

- Work with Operations to ensure assigned business targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of customer service.

- Stay up-to-date on relevant industry regulations and trends, including upcoming projects and innovative technologies.

- Collaborate with the business unit administrators and operations managers to resolve any potential issues with payables or receivables.

- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and internal teams.

- Negotiate skillfully through challenging situations, resolving differences without damaging relationships.

- Travel extensively throughout the area of operations and maintain a high level of performance.

- Support and facilitate cooperation across operational work groups to achieve assigned business targets.

- Clearly present the complete suite of Secure products and service lines to target customers, emphasizing key features, advantages, and benefits.

- Promote Secure's safety culture.

- Demonstrate adherence to Secure's vision, purpose, and values.
