Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Payroll and HRIS Specialist to join our team at Lorval Capital Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration and HRIS implementation, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

As a Payroll and HRIS Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to employees, management, and other stakeholders on all aspects of human resources management, including payroll administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide subject matter expertise on all modules within Dayforce to internal customers
- Lead the continuous evaluation and evolution of the HRIS system
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws and internal policies in the management of information stored in the HRIS
- Develop and compile regular reports to track trends, verifying accuracy and consistency of data and processes

Requirements

- Certified Payroll Professional certification in good standing
- Minimum 5 years experience at Payroll Specialist level
- Minimum 5 years experience working with and implementing HRIS systems
- Working knowledge of Canadian and US payroll rules/legislation and employment legislation required
- Experience working with multiple payroll providers with working knowledge of best practices
- Advanced understanding of Payroll laws and obligations
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep organized
