As a key member of the Glass Canvas team, the Finance Administrator will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. This 15-month maternity leave contract position is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to utilize their accounting skills and experience in a dynamic environment.

About the Role
  • Payroll Administration:

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, submitting all necessary information to our payroll specialist. They will also manage employee records related to payroll, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and accurate.

  • Accounts Receivable / Payable:

Key responsibilities include processing invoices, scheduling payments, and resolving purchase order discrepancies. The ideal candidate will maintain vendor records, respond to inquiries, and ensure accurate reconciliation of monthly statements. Additionally, they will prepare and send monthly invoices to clients and track payments, monitoring accounts for discrepancies and following up on outstanding balances.

Other key tasks include managing accrual processes for payables and receivables, ensuring accurate financial recording and compliance. The successful candidate will monitor expenses, review vendor contracts, and track overall revenue against company goals.

They will also support financial reporting, assist with audits, and provide administrative assistance to the finance team. Collaboration with the accountant and bookkeeper is essential to reconcile company books and ensure accurate monthly/annual financial reporting.
