HR Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant will provide support to the HR Manager and HR Advisor in a complex manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have professional experience in human resources, preferably in a similar setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including booking interviews and scheduling testing.
- Work with the Training Coordinator on new hire orientation.
- Compile minutes from various meetings.
- Provide general HR support and advice on policies, procedures, and practices.
- Update Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and maintain employee data in HRIS system.
- Act as backup to the Payroll Advisor as required.
- Assist in organizing annual processes such as performance reviews and salary increases.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
- Support a variety of HR projects and assist in composing materials.
- Maintain the HR department's files and promote a safe workplace.
- Coordinate site visits and events.
Requirements:
- Professional (CHRP) designation is considered an asset.
- Minimum of two to three years of related Human Resources experience.
- Thorough knowledge of current Human Resources Management practices and provincial and federal legislation.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to exercise confidentiality, tact, discretion, and judgment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a team.
