About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Front of House Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our Food and Beverage department. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize revenue by collaborating with the Food and Beverage team to implement effective strategies and promotions
  • Continuously analyze Food and Beverage operations to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions
  • Work closely with the Front of House Manager to review and update service training and leadership development programs
  • Ensure guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and shareholder return
  • Oversee the weekly schedule and work with supervisors to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and food service initiatives
  • Develop and maintain standards for Food and Beverage operations
  • Manage beverage cost of sales goals and oversee inventory management
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Develop expertise in point-of-sale systems and manage software as necessary
  • Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests
  • Handle guest concerns and react promptly and professionally

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years of F&B management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks while remaining calm
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Hotel and Restaurant Management Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience
  • Serving experience (3-5 years) and certifications such as Serving It Right and FOODSAFE
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and direct a team, with a strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles and techniques

Compensation:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, starting at $26 per hour, plus auto gratuities and a season completion bonus of $1 per hour.
