**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
Ensure the successful day to day operation of Blue Mountain's Grounds Maintenance Department. Responsible to oversee fulfillment on work orders and contractual agreements. The department is responsible for property maintenance, landscape maintenance projects, snow removal, roads & parking maintenance and waste management.
- Quote and bid on new contracts and assess the profitability of those existing.
- In collaboration with the Manager, the Assistant Manager will coordinate and take ownership of projects that involve the department from start to finish.
- Onboard and train all employees in accordance with all regulatory bodies with an emphasis on safety.
- Ensure appropriate record keeping for all employee training is kept up to date and available at all times.
- Possess a working knowledge of all staff roles and pieces of equipment in the Grounds department with the ability to complete those roles or run those pieces of equipment.

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- Completion of high school equivalent (GED) and further education in landscaping/horticulture and/or business
- Valid Class "G" Driver's license
- Supervisory or management experience in a similar role
- Experience with light and heavier equipment operation is required and snow machine operation is an asset
- Must show competency with using the basic Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, MS Outlook)
- Considerable knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to groundskeeping and maintenance work
- Flexible working schedule, early morning starts, and weekend availability
