Contractual Agent in Yellowknife: Community Outreach

As a Contractual Agent with Collectif Social, you will play a vital role in expanding our network of establishments participating in our program to prevent sexual and gender-based violence in bars and festive spaces across Yellowknife. This is a part-time, casual position that offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the community.
We are seeking a motivated and independent individual who is willing to work atypical hours as required. As a Contractual Agent, your primary mission will involve promoting our program within local bars and establishments. This entails visiting bars, initiating contact with management, presenting our program, and helping to coordinate logistics for training sessions.
The selected candidate must be available to start on our expected start date. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be able to work independently and proactively, and possess sensitivity to and knowledge of social issues impacting youth. Previous experience in the bar industry is an asset.
This is a paid position with an estimated hourly wage of $40. Work-related expenses will be covered, and flexible hours will be offered. Candidates can choose their workload and hours per week based on their availability and preferences.

• Conduct visits to bars in Yellowknife, establish contact with managers, and present our program;
• Conduct regular follow-ups with interested establishments and compile reports after each shift;
• Maintain and develop positive relationships with key contacts in relevant bars;
• Provide assistance to the team during in-person training at partnered bars;
