Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Communications Advisor to join our team in the Economic Development & Strategy Department.

Under the general direction of the Manager, you will lead the strategic administration, implementation, and operation of our communications programs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with implementing policies, strategies, and campaigns to ensure communication objectives are met.
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to provide support and advice on external communication goals and processes.

You will play a key role in ensuring proper external communication goals are met and outstanding customer service is achieved.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in community engagement within a government or corporate environment.
  • Expert knowledge of best practices in strategic communications planning, public relations, and media relations.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
