Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized individual who can lead our kitchen team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Planning menus and estimating food requirements to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Requisitioning food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards
  • Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer demands
  • Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality
  • Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen efficiency
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-6 months of experience in a similar position, preferably in the restaurant industry
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of menu planning and kitchen management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to lead a team effectively
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
