Job Summary:

The Sales Specialist role at Axalta is a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to drive business growth and develop strategic relationships with customers in the Automotive Refinish industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, focusing on growing business with existing customers and identifying new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, providing actionable insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute sales plans, events, and campaigns that drive results and meet business objectives.
  • Effectively communicate and present Axalta's solutions to customers, highlighting the value proposition and differentiators.
  • Maintain accurate account information and contact data in SalesForce, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with internal teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of direct selling experience in the Automotive Refinish industry, with a proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong business development and prospecting skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively acquire new clients.
  • Excellent relationship-building and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
