At Tremco Roofing, we bring together expertise in commercial sealants and waterproofing, roofing and building maintenance, to deliver innovative solutions for new construction and restoration projects.


This role is part of our CSW Business Unit for New Commercial Construction, working closely with architects, designers, general contractors, distributors, and end-users to promote the use of our products across North America.


The Technical Sales Representative will drive revenue growth by securing and developing key accounts, managing performance metrics, and providing exceptional customer service. With a strong understanding of product chemistries and industry trends, this professional will leverage their expertise to influence product specifications and project opportunities throughout assigned territories.


Responsibilities:



  • Meet or exceed sales targets through effective account management and business development strategies.
  • Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with customers, leveraging industry knowledge and marketplace dynamics to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate product knowledge training sessions, ensuring seamless delivery of technical information to both internal and external customers.
  • Utilize technology to enhance productivity, track sales and expenses, and maintain accurate forecasting and account reviews.
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry developments to provide informed advice and support to customers.
  • Adhere to company policies, pricing, and operational procedures while promoting a positive professional image of Tremco Roofing.
  • Perform other related duties as required or requested.

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience (2-3 years) OR High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of construction or industry experience.
  • Four to ten years of related experience in the construction industry, with a minimum of two years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Construction knowledge, including waterproofing, air barriers, framing, modular, and assembly line-related product segments.
  • Basic knowledge of product chemistries and insulated concrete forms (ICF) knowledge/experience a plus.

  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to understand and manage own emotions positively, read audiences, and adjust style accordingly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Able to build relationships and adapt to changing circumstances.

Benefits and Compensation:


The estimated salary range for this position is $82,000.00 to $106,600.00 per year, plus a performance-based incentive bonus.
