Business Development Manager

Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last-major brewer still owned by Canadians. The company has been operated by the Oland family since it was established in 1867.
Job Description:The Business Development Manager will be accountable for managing the staff, maintaining Moosehead's high standards for quality and cleanliness, and acting as a key brand ambassador. This individual will have a strong acumen for business development, building relationships in the local community, and creating new Moosehead fans.
Responsibilities:- Manage the operations and staff of the store, including scheduling, payroll, beer ordering, inventories, safety and security inspections.
- Develop relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
- Maintain weekly social media promotions and content, while looking for new and creative ways to develop local advertising plans.
- Champion education for customers on brands, products, and promotions.
- Maintain the Cold Beer Store property with support from the building owners.
- Previous sales management experience in the Beverage Alcohol or consumer packaged goods space.
- Excellent time-management and planning skills, with an ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, including quantitative analysis.
- Competency in computer productivity software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Canva.
- An appreciation for beer is considered an asset.
- A valid forklift certification would be considered an asset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
