About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Basha Laplaine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and managing kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare menus that meet the needs of our customers, including those with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to deliver high-quality dishes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including supervising staff and ensuring that we are meeting our service standards.
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on Lebanese cuisine and gluten-free options.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, as required.
