About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Basha Laplaine. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and managing kitchen inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers, including those with dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Prepare and present dishes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of food inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Clean and maintain a safe and healthy kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including staff supervision and training, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
