We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Basha Laplaine. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and managing kitchen supplies.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Kitchen Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
- Supply Management: Requisition and manage kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory levels and ensuring that equipment is in good working order.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
LanguageThe primary language of work is French.
Work ScheduleThe work schedule is 30 to 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
